We loved Anzac Biscuits. Delicious!
Anzac biscuits are biscuits that were sent to the soldiers in World War One.
There are no eggs in Anzac biscuits because they were in short supply and they would go off. The biscuits had to travel to the other side of the world by boat. It took a long time to get there. The soldiers use to break the biscuits up to make a scrumptious porridge. They use to be called soldiers biscuits. To make Anzac biscuits you need rolled oats, golden syrup, coconut, melted butter, flour, sugar, hot water and soda.
Yesterday we made Anzac biscuits. They were delicious, outstanding, superb, squishy, amazing, flat, hard, terrific, wonderful, yummy, oatmeal tasty, out of this world, to die for, scrumptious, out of this galaxy and delectable!
