Flat Stanley Visits Super 16

Flat Stanley has arrived at College Street Normal School Palmerston North New Zealand.

Palmerston North is just here!

My friends from Super 16 welcome me!

Jobe brought Flat Stanley to school.
Flat Stanley came all the way from America. Ava sent him to Jobe in an envelope.

We took lots of photos of us and Flat Stanley.

He did Jump Jam with us in the new hall.

We are proud of our new auditorium!

We showed him the artroom, the auditorium and the library.

Today is the last day of term. We celebrated by eating Hot Cross Buns and raspberry jam.

Celebrations

Super 16 is looking forward to Easter.
We are looking at celebrations.
Easter is something most people celebrate in New Zealand.

On Friday Super 16 is going to have Easter Eggs and Hot Cross Buns with raspberry jam.

Healthy Kids

On Friday we had a healthy shared lunch because we are looking at what makes a healthy kid. We had to get in groups of 4. We were allowed to choose. This term we have found out we can make choices but we need to think how our choice will affect others. We have to stop , think, go (Manage our Impulsivity) We had to decide in our group what we wanted to eat. We were allowed to choose what we wanted to eat but had to think about..

choosing only one treat
what people liked or were allowed or not allowed to eat
choose a lot of fruit, vegetables and cereal/bread/noodles or rice
what you would be allowed to bring
only bring enough for 4 kids
