Going for Gold

   Yesterday at Ongley park we did the triathlon. 

   
 The best part of the weet-bix tryathlon was swimming and biking because we got to swim just one length of the pool.
The pool was at the lido. It was outside and it was deep.  It was a 50 meter pool and the biking was on the road.
 When we got at the drive way of the Esplande a guy in a truck nearly hit me  and someone told him to go around the cones!

At last I arrived at ongly park I was so relived I wasn't late for the weet-bix try! 

I saw Emma and Holly chatting at the C.S.N.S tent so I rushed towards them and then I saw Tiaki. 

I got her and together we ran to the C.S.N.S. tent and started talking.

Then Mrs Elgar, Mrs Langly and Mrs Tremain called us over. They told us when the race was going to start.My favorite part was when the race was finished I got my new gold medal! The worst part was when 'The HelpTeam' was cheering. I had to concentrate and keep on running as fast as cheetah.

Last Friday I went to the Lantern parade with my mum and dad.There were lots of people.The clock tower looked pretty. It was light purple.After the parade there was a Dragon dance.I made my lantern.The hardest part was making the base. I had to use bamboo and tape.There will be one next year and I hope I can go.

On a sunny Wednesday it was the day of the week-bix Tryathalon at Ongley park. When I got there I went to play on the field with my Anz ball. It was a small ball.
 Then we got ready to swim in the deep pool. 
It was very very very deep and when we got out of the pool we ran back to Ongley park to tag the bike people. 
 We had week-bix bites for breakfast. 

At the end we got a gold medal. 
 I got up at 5. 30am. It was an early start because I was so excited.
 I got up with mum to have week-Bix Bites .     
I felt happy and excited and proud to have taken part in the Weetbix tryathlon.

Yesterday it was the triathlon. I woke up at 6 o'clock in the morning that was early! So me and dad jumped in the car. We zoomed off! Then we had to find a park. There were so many people we could not find one.  It was packed! Dad got my bike off the truck. We had to put my bike in a white line dad lined it up. When that was finished we went  to see the Csns tent to know who we  were with .  It was time for swimming. The red then the orange then the white caps went to the pool. Finally it was the white caps turn (the seven year old girls) to jump into the pool. I got in then we a duck dived the lady said go we were off. I was happy to start. When we had swam the whole length we  jumped out and  had to run across the road to get on our bikes. My bike was easy to find because it was close to the gate. I jumped on my bike and biked as fast as I could. When I was halfway round people passed me. I felt a bit annoyed because I was getting tired. I felt a bit better when I saw the finish line for biking. But then I had to run!! Running was next. We had to run so far I thought I was going to pop.
When it was almost at the end there were people clapping and cheering.
I felt proud and happy.

Esplanade day By Piper

This is Me, Sashini, Malissa, Emma, Bella-Rose and my brother in the back ground at Esplanade Day. There where so many people there it was packed.  You couldn't see the grass! We had to dance in front of so many people!It was like a fun-day! Me, Sashini, Emma,Bella-Rose were Pink poodles and Malissa was a Purple poodle. There was a plastic mat and we had to dance on it! Emma from Room12     

and Sashini were riding trikes! Jack was a Smurf! Sashini's big sister was in Sweet Escape! There was a HOTDOG stand and I did not get a hot dog!

A Butterfly Emerges

On Saturday my mum took this video of a monarch butterfly hatching out of it's chrysalis. We had lots of chrysalises on our swan plant, and we waited and waited to be able to see one hatch, but we kept missing it!! 

Finally we got it!

Fantastic 14 are Teachers
