Making Anzac Biscuits

On Thursday we made Anzac biscuits.
We had a great time making them and an even better time eating them!
First we mixed the ingredients together. Once the butter and golden syrup were added they smelt delicious!

When the mixing was done we got small balls of mixture and squashed them flat to make the biscuits.

Patience was next while we waited 10 minutes for them to cook! Finally, the best part, EATING!

Malissa Goes For Gold

Me and my two trophies

In the holidays, I went to the Manawatu dance competitions at the Globe Theatre. I was very excited and a little bit nervous. I danced a Classical Ballet, a Jazz, Tap Solo and a Tap Duo. I won two trophies for my Tap Solo. A big one for the restricted tap under 12 years and another smaller one for Under 8 years Tap dance. These were my first ever solo dance trophies. I am very proud of myself. My family and dance teacher are very happy too.

Fun Day

On Thursday, the last day of school we had a fabulous fun afternoon.
It started with sausages and ice blocks and ended with the best biggest lolly scramble ever!
A helicopter flew over the school and it started raining lollies!
Lollies, lollies everywhere!
What a fantastic end to the term!
The police dogs came and chased a robber! The army set up an obstacle course. Fear factor was fun and disgusting. The jets showed their skills, Zumba was fun and sweaty.

Malissa, Sashini and Piper did a dance. There were sack races and egg and spoon races. Throwing a wet sponge at the teachers was  great. Face painting was popular so was the bouncy castle. 
It was fun fun and more fun. 
I wonder what next term will bring!
